Overview
US Angel Investors is a recently formed informal investment group of accredited private equity (“angel”) investors who provide counsel and capital to startup companies in a wide variety of industries. This group includes mostly former and current executives and entrepreneurs, but also venture capitalists and small funds. US Angel Investors members look for high quality investment opportunities in information technology, internet, new media, healthcare IT and medical devices. Other sectors with high growth opportunities will be considered on an opportunistic basis.
We meet once a month, usually on the third Wednesday. US Angel Investors works closely with Bay Area Startup Network (www.basn.org), a sister organization whose goal is to provide networking opportunities for early stage startups. Investor members invest individually: there is no fund controlled by US Angel Investors.
Our Mission
US Angel Investors’ mission is to provide a forum where serious active investors will be presented with a continuous flow of high quality deals.
For high-quality startups we provide access to capital, counsel and networking resources.
